"old Hollywood glamour"-ish

i went for a neutral look today. i initially tried silver+black smokey eye a try but i was in a hurry to blend that i messed it up big time haha. i went for an easier to finish look so here you go.

*pardon the last two poses, i was making a call while camwhoring. talk about multitasking haha. btw if you're wondering what am wearing on my nails, it's OPI Flashbulb Fuschia.

eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance (TFSI)
MAC Femme Fi - all over lid until browbone
Maybelline Eyestudio Creamy e/l - lashline
Laura Mercier eyeliner - waterline
Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing - lashes
L'Oreal Telescopic - brows

face:
L'Egere BB cream
Joppa Medium Light #3
Aromaleigh URFP Peaches and Cream
MAC Nuance (cheeks)
MAC lip conditioner (lips)
MAC Slimshine High 90's (lips)

what i like about this look is that it sort of reminds me of old Hollywood glamour - defined eyes with the entire lid highlighted (with highlight color, literally) and prominent lips. i opted to go with orangey lips rather than red (as with the true old Hollywood glamour makeup) because i didn't want to look seducing at work haha. so you could say i sort of mixed that with a little bit of rebel attitude (which is so the 1990's!)

i know i mentioned MAC All Ages, All Races, All Sexes collection yesterday and i called up MAC Isetan to ask if it's launched. the SA told me it's coming next month! i actually want the products now but hey, if it can wait for my next paycheck then better. :D
