miracle makeup remover: Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil

i came across Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil while browsing this month's issue of Female magazine. my The Body Shop Gentle Eye Makeup Remover (which i use as a face makeup remover because i use Lancome Bi-Facil to remove eye makeup) was running out so what a perfect time to try a new one.

this is actually a cleanser that claims to be "gentle on skin, yet tough on makeup". it also promises to remove makeup WITHOUT THE USE OF COTTON. how cool is that??? so i definitely had to try.

it's currently packaged in Limited Edition Snow White Fairytale Collection 120ml with complimentary 20ml that sells for S$33. well, i've shelved out S$48 for an eye makeup remover (Lancome Bi-Facil) so why not less that amount for an overall makeup remover?

here is the sales pitch:

Makeup removal is now blissfully easy with MILD CLEANSING OIL. This powerful formulation comes enriched with Meadow Foam Oil, which removes kertain plugs and keeps pores clear for a clearer, smoother complexion.

MILD CLEANSING OIL is gentle on skin, yet tough on makeup. Its unique Perfect Blend Oil works to remove stubborn makeup thoroughly without leaving any oil residue, while protecting and retaining skin's natural moisture. So choose the right cleanser today and embark on the road to healthy, beautiful skin.

Amidst the greenery and tranquility of the woods, Snow White is well-protected by Mother Nature, the animals and the Seven Dwarfs. A friend to the animals big and small in the forest, her harmonious nature reflects the modern woman's sense and sensuality with an enchanting touch of fairytale magic.

ok, now onto to the good stuff!

see the stopper below the pump? how ingenous right, so Japanese! that way, no product gets spilled accidentally.

my cute freebie! and it has a stopper too, gotta love Japanese packaging. ;)

i've used this for a week now and i am still as impressed as the first time i've tried until this very day. what i do is, pump product on my palm (about 1-2 pumps depending on how heavy my makeup is), lather it on my dry face (note, i don't wet my face prior), thoroughly but gently doing circular motions on parts of my face to remove makeup and when the makeup is loose enough, i rinse it off with water. then, my face is clean! although i like to follow up with Clean & Clear Self-Foaming Facial Cleanser just 'cause am not used to oil cleansers yet. but if you are a fan of emu oil and you don't follow up with another cleanser, then i think you'll love this one too.

this is my HG makeup remover currently. am beginning to lean towards asian skin and beauty care now, as i think they address asian women's skin and features better. how i understand Fuzkittie's love affair with asian beauty products now. :D on a later note, i will be posting about my new Shu Uemura haul - just mentioning because we're speaking of asian beauty items.

i urge you to try it if you can get ahold of it. definitely worth buying. I AM JUST IN LOVE WITH IT. (^0^)

P.S.

i will post a video later on how i actually use this and you'll see how effective it is in removing makeup - all of it. watch out for it. :)
