Yes, it's that day of the year again waited upon by eager shoppers -- Black Friday. I think it's one of the best times of the year to hoard for almost anything and everything, especially if you're based in the US. Why? Across all kinds, brands and range of products and items there are just so much variety to choose from at highly discounted prices. This "shopping holiday" is strategically practiced just a few days shy from the Christmas gift-giving season so shopping for yourself and loved ones (and may be for your enemies too!) just got a lot more convenient, timely and cost-effective. Good news for Singapore-based gals like us, Black Friday has definitely rubbed off on some local companies who's merrily jumping onto the sales bandwagon. Nowadays, this is even sweeter as the deals are not only available at our favorite or popular department stores and boutiques but available dominantly in online shopping! I'm a busy momma -- what with my crazy workload...

i know i've been seriously neglecting my blog for months now. my apologies to any of you out there who are waiting for my updates. lately i've lost motivation on continuing to put up any posts. i've started blogging in 2008 (if my memory serves me right) and at that time, i just really love to write about my passion for makeup and other things beauty-related. however, the combination of workload, church responsibilities as well as my distaste for more and more blogs getting commercialized (read: posts that are pure endorsements instead of honest and unbiased reviews which blogs were known for once upon a time) contributed to my laziness to post. i'm glad to report though my love for anything girly didn't fade. if you follow me in FB, Twitter or Instagram, you'd know what i mean. still, i want to make it up a bit by putting up this short update.  i don't really have a central theme to this post as i've literally just thought of doing this post improm...

Happy weekend! It's a gloomy day today. The sun barely peeked through and the rain pitter-pattered. But no amount of bad weather stopped my daughter and I from looking forward to spending girl time! We watched Breaking Dawn Part 2, just the two of us, and it was awesome! excited during Burger King breakfast - a few minutes away from epic conclusion of the Twilight Saga! If you still don't know, on weekends I choose to tackle topics besides "serious makeup/beauty talk" and just share what I love. I call these posts MWAH - Making Weekends Absolutely Heartwarming. Onto the movie - we loved it a lot! It would've been perfect if it weren't for all the graphic display of affection but other than that it was cool! This story may be flawed but Edward doesn't fail to mesmerize me as Jacob does for my daughter haha.
