Get ready for the BF!

Yes, it's that day of the year again waited upon by eager shoppers -- Black Friday.

I think it's one of the best times of the year to hoard for almost anything and everything, especially if you're based in the US. Why? Across all kinds, brands and range of products and items there are just so much variety to choose from at highly discounted prices. This "shopping holiday" is strategically practiced just a few days shy from the Christmas gift-giving season so shopping for yourself and loved ones (and may be for your enemies too!) just got a lot more convenient, timely and cost-effective. Good news for Singapore-based gals like us, Black Friday has definitely rubbed off on some local companies who's merrily jumping onto the sales bandwagon. Nowadays, this is even sweeter as the deals are not only available at our favorite or popular department stores and boutiques but available dominantly in online shopping! I'm a busy momma -- what with my crazy workload due to a tightly scheduled ongoing upgrade IT project plus being on wife & mommy mode right after office hours and most importantly meeting & serving God daily -- so online shopping is a no-brainer! If you're like me, you have a wishlist from must visit sites by now to prepare on the 29th. Don't fret though; usually, online sales start a day before or end a day after (or even both for some sites) so there's more time to consider what stuff to get. But if you do want to get the best deals, no harm in getting in line first, right? ;-)

Last year, I only knew of Luxola having a Black Friday sale locally. Even that, I only knew it when it was already going on -- and ending fast! This year, I discovered Zalora has announced they will be having a Black Friday sale daysss in advance. Isn't that awesome? Anticipation building up! With that said, indulge me in showing you this quaint selection that's just a taste of what I would click and put in my cart that day!

3. Beautybay - been eyeing that OSIS Dust It Mattifying Powder for the longest time!
5. Sugarpill - for those ultra bright eyeshadows that suits my signature eye makeup look!

Terrific hairday at Affascinante Salon

I recently went back to Manila for vacation since my kids had a one week school holiday and I had to see my Uro for my followup checkup (have you heard, am stone-free already - thank GOD!!!). One of the plans that materialized during that trip is having my daughter's hair rebonded - for the first time - and getting my hair colored since my regrow is showing already. I went straight to my trusted stylist, Wheng of Affascinante Salon. My daughter before rebonding: My daughter after rebonding: Huge difference right? My daughter can't hide her excitement. She now appreciates beauty a li'l more - she hates putting on makeup because it takes a lot effort she says. Ah, we're total opposites hehe. Of course, it's the mother's turn next! I didn't have a before picture though I took after shots in different lighting. Btw, i asked Wheng to color my hair reddish brown. Also, in case you're wondering she used Framesi coloring products.
