Wonderful Wednesday to you all! Am so sorry for the lack of posts for so long as work, family and church ministry took the bulk of my time. As much I wanted to blog, I really couldn't find the time to do so. Thankfully, today is a public holiday in Singapore (Deepavali) and since I don't have any activities lined up for the day, I thought I'd schedule posts. Onto the review then! Oh how I adored this color combination! It definitely has that festive spirit but in the not-so usual colors of blue & purple. Normally, China Glaze For Audrey would look whimsical but put together and not out-of-control loud. With Models Own Boogie Nights, it just got the right amount of sparkle to look uber fun and almost ready for a holiday party! i've always loved hauling makeup and skincare but since i moved back to Singapore couple of years ago, i've never been more into it. not only because there are more brands here worth checking out for and cosmetics regularly hold sales/promotions, there are lots who also give out samples before you actually buy the product. and one day proding around facebook did i bump into Curél - distributed by Kao (a Japanese brand founded in 1887 and incorporated in 1940). to get sample pack of their face, body or hair line, you need to visit http://apps.facebook.com/curel-tip-the-sample/ and signup (Singapore address only.) you'll be asked of your preference from the three lines - my first choice was face and that's what arrived! i appreciate that they have their own envelope for branding and better presentation than using usual brown mailers. i think that presentation/imaging is really inherent with Japanese brands. some info and instructions how to use...

almost two months ago, i couldn't bear my excessive hairfall anymore. i had to cut my hair. and so even though i'm very scared to have a local cut my hair (for fear of not being understood what cut i want), i braved confirming an early morning appointment with Kimage Hair Studio at Bukit Panjang Plaza. the day before the actual appointment, i did a bit of research on the net to see if there are any good reviews for that branch of that salon. i came across one that totally convicted me to go there and he highly recommended Yvonne , the salon manager and a top stylist. and so when i arrived at 1030am, i was delighted that a pretty woman greeted me and ushered me in. i told her i'm looking for Yvonne and she just asked me to follow her - not knowing it is already her. she guided me to the shampoo area and shampooed my hair. i was shocked when she told me she's my stylist when i asked her who is Yvonne. she shampooed my hair thoroughly, gave me advice on my scalp a...
