am currently in love with this unique nail color. no wonder lots of nail addicts have it on their nail arsenal. this color is sooo cool, it looks like blue-indigo-violet in different lights/angles. it has purple and pink reflects in it, for me this color looks like a gem! applying this color sort of jumps start my turning-cold love affair with nail polishes. oh.. love love it! ~_^

It's been a very long while since MAC came up with a limited edition collection that truly excited me. And I'm elated that this one does very much!!! I'm contemplating on the flat buffer brush and blush. I like the lippie too but I think I already have a similar shade in my stash. I'm not a neutral eye makeup kinda gal but I'm slowly realizing I cannot keep on putting on colorful eyeshadow as I grow older. And this eyeshadow compact looks neat. I am loving the lip pencil and blush too! Hope I could still find some stocks when I hit the MAC counters! Are you captivated by this collection too?

i got BELOfied!

i went back to Manila around late second week of July to get my 3rd ESWL . but before that, i went to Belo at The Residences @ Greenbelt with my youngest sister to get a facial and advice on how to improve our skin. i've never had facial EVER before so i didn't know what to expect. when we arrived, the ladies at the reception greeted us promptly and asked our names to know our appointment. the ambiance of the clinic is very serene, inviting and pleasant. immediately after getting in, i inhaled this clean, jasmine(?) aroma - uhm, very soothing. one of the ladies at the reception received us, then ushered us into available seats and shortly thereafter were offered drinks then asked to fill up a form (since it's our first time there). after a little while, we were assisted to our respective treatment rooms for the facial. my facialist that day was Matet. she was pretty (her skin was radiant!), professional and very accomodating with my queries. she also made me feel at...

NYX lippie swatch updates and a GIVEAWAY announcement!

i previously wrote about acquiring the blogger-world-highly-raved-about NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams . i didn't have the time to swatch them at the time so i'm making up for that now. here are the swatches: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm NYX Matte Lipstick in Butter i've also updated that entry in case somebody refers to it later and don't need to jump here just to see the swatch. loving it? hating it? i've tried using all of them in FOTDs, stay tuned for that!
