Review: Duo eyelash adhesive

Image
It's yet the end of another work week - hooray! I'm looking forward to this weekend as my hubby returns from his business trip of 18 days from Norway. I'm going to convince him to eat at Thai Express hehe. I know you got plans on your own for the coming weekend so onto this short and sweet review. *wink wink* what Duo says: - World's largest seller/waterproof - Dries invisibly - Ingredients: Water, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Dodecylbenzenesulfonate, Rubber Latex, Fragrance (Parfum), Formalin Solution, Ammonium Hydroxide Mhean says: - I got in on sale at Luxola  for S$7 for 7g of product. - I'm not comfortable with the packaging because even though it dispenses the product through a pointy nozzle, the hole is still a bit big that I feel it dispenses more product that it should compared to other adhesives I use (Spring Heart & Dolly Wink). Therefore, I end up using more product and not able to distribute it evenly or even if I can, it takes more time to do so a

Review: Paperself Small Peacock

Each morning, it is our eyes who gives us a glimpse of what another day could bring. Today, I want to share a review on a pretty enhancer to our peepers - Paperself false eyelashes.  What probably set this apart the other false eyelashes widely available is its material - paper. You read that right - paper false eyelashes. I actually thought that it is ridiculous to market false eyelash made from paper as it is not as sturdy and waterproof as say real hair or synthetic lashes. But it's probably due to the nature of it that the design is very intricate and creative that being the curious makeup maniac that I am, made me gave it a try. I wasn't ready to commit to a full eyelash with the over-the-top designs so I got a half first - Small Peacock. Mhean says: - Even the most boring eye makeup will get spruced up with this lash! I fell in love with how fabulous the design looked like. It was definitely eye-catching! - It's very easy to use and I notice the eyelash adhes

Review: beautyblender pure

hello my dear readers! am so sorry for not blogging for a while. things are really just spinning and keeps on piling at the workplace. i'd like to make it up by doing a sponsored review. (-^_^-) last month, i heeded Japalang's call for bloggers to test out beautyblender®. i almost didn't want to join because i still haven't used the one my sister gave me last time she was here in Singapore - i keep thinking how a waste it would be if it gets ruined by another cleanser other than blendercleanser®. but when i saw that they have another version - very strikingly resembling a real white egg - then i got curious and signed up! it's called beautyblender® pure™. but first, let me share some background and product info of beautyblender® pure™ (i didn't know these until i read the blog press kit!): photo credit Rea Ann Silva (www.reaannsilva.com) is the creator of the smashing beauty hit beautyblender® - appeared in InStyle, People, Elle, Sev

Review: Sleek Makeup O.M.G. lipstick

Image
ola chikas! i'm back at work today hehe. still feeling a little bit under the weather but i'd have to suck it up - program codes waiting for me in the office aren't going to code themselves haha! ok, enough geek talk lol time for some makeup talk! for Valentine's Day, i received a gift from my daughter - Sleek Makeup O.M.G. lipstick. she asked me what i wanted and i showed here everything i wanted at Luxola.com haha! i think she chose this not only because it looked pretty but because it's what she can afford too hehe! she was super sweet to have gotten me anything really! (^_^) i admit, the first time i saw the color in Sleek Makeup's website, i was dubious. i don't really tend to favor reds on my lips as i feel they are too much of an attention seeker so i cannot pair it with loud eyes. but lately, i've spent less and less time to get ready in the morning so i don't really devote time to apply eyeshadow to my eyes anymore compared before. boo
