how are you today beautiful? ;D today, i'd like to share with you the last item i got from my 2nd Luxola haul, which is the Sleek Makeup Dip-it Duo Volumising Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner in 24 Karat. i've never seen much review or mentions about this product except from FacesBySarah . i've never been such vibrant swatch of a gold liner so it got me curious and i've decided to buy this one. pictures and swatches! closeup my 2 cents: - the packaging is very practical and an eye candy. - the color is pretty but i expected it to be really vibrant but it seemed flatter from my expectation. i've not tried though but i believe with a good gold base this will pop. but doing that is a little crazy because that would mean i'll be doing extra steps i am trying to avoid in the first place. *sigh* - after a little while - and i mean in as little as 1 hour - the color fades. maybe this will work on drier lids, as mine is really an oil mine. and oh, this happen...

hey everyone! i skipped a day of blogging yesterday as i got drowned with issues at work that needed urgent attention. today though, i've got something special to share with you about. i think Majolica Majorca has a strong rival in mascaras for me now. enter -- ZA Impact Lash Mascara! i was intrigued by all the publicity for this new mascara. several bus stop ads and Watsons counter posters grabbed my attention - i just had to know what the fuzz is about. been able to try this mascara for over a week now. i like it's effect and hold. here is a short pic realization of it's effects: clean lashes after 1 coat after 2 coats in terms of building up volume, i agree this packs on the goods. there are no fibers included (which Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing has that i loathe), but the usual creamy product. it's reasonably priced too, probably cheaper if i got it in Manila. and it stays on until you remove it, because it's waterproof. one of the things i didn't like about it though is the applicator. it was chunkier than what am used to from L'Oreal's and Majolica Majorca's. it was a bit hard to work it, you'd had to be very careful to apply it or you'll end up applying mascara in all the wrong places as well as clump your lashe...

here are some of my recent hauls from drugstores/flea markets: eyebrow hair razor got this at Fairprice for S$5.90. useful if you need to get rid of very short strands of brow hair that's hard to pull out with a tweezer. tweezers i never really owned one ever so i thought i'd finally purchase one. am not really good at fixing my brows yet, but how can i practice if i don't have tools? i hope this'll help me. got this at Watsons but i forgot for how much... around S$10? but definitely not over S$15. it's sleek, lightweight and matte - i like it! here's hoping to getting it to good and habitual use hehe. btw, i plan to use this when the brow hair is too short to be cut by a brow scissor. (remember this??? i use it when my brows have grown long and it's a bit awkward to pull hairs off one by one.)
