It's been a very long while since MAC came up with a limited edition collection that truly excited me. And I'm elated that this one does very much!!! I'm contemplating on the flat buffer brush and blush. I like the lippie too but I think I already have a similar shade in my stash. I'm not a neutral eye makeup kinda gal but I'm slowly realizing I cannot keep on putting on colorful eyeshadow as I grow older. And this eyeshadow compact looks neat. I am loving the lip pencil and blush too! Hope I could still find some stocks when I hit the MAC counters! Are you captivated by this collection too?

i got BELOfied!

i went back to Manila around late second week of July to get my 3rd ESWL . but before that, i went to Belo at The Residences @ Greenbelt with my youngest sister to get a facial and advice on how to improve our skin. i've never had facial EVER before so i didn't know what to expect. when we arrived, the ladies at the reception greeted us promptly and asked our names to know our appointment. the ambiance of the clinic is very serene, inviting and pleasant. immediately after getting in, i inhaled this clean, jasmine(?) aroma - uhm, very soothing. one of the ladies at the reception received us, then ushered us into available seats and shortly thereafter were offered drinks then asked to fill up a form (since it's our first time there). after a little while, we were assisted to our respective treatment rooms for the facial. my facialist that day was Matet. she was pretty (her skin was radiant!), professional and very accomodating with my queries. she also made me feel at...

Battle of the Cleansing Oils: DHC vs. Fancl

ran to Watsons last week to replenish my St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser . my Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil also ran out already but before i could replenish it, DHC Deep Cleansing Oil stirred my curiousity and so i gave it a try. i don't need to review the scrub and facial cleanser i mentioned above - i simply love them. as for my initial impression of DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, i can't help but compare it with Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil (see my review here ). but first, here are some pics: first point: price. DHC's come in 200ml for S$42 while Fancl's come in 120 ml for S$33. without computing, you'd think "hey, DHC is cheaper". but it's not. you see, 1 ml of DHC is priced ~S$4.76 while Fancl is priced ~S$3.64. second point: value for money. i've observed that with DHC i would need 2 squeeze of product compared to 1 of Fancl's.
